Introduction :
The Department of Museum Programs and Activities is no less important than the rest of the museum. Pottery

Sadou

One of the handicrafts that distinguished from the people of the desert, especially women, including the knitting of wool, the maker of the Sadou explains to make Saduo and its knitting in front of school students and apply it interactively.

Rock drawing

The workshop applier works on drawings and engravings on various types of rocks also writing and engraving names of certain types of stones, then the public and school students apply it.

Sculpture on stones

My little archaeology

Is to search for and explore the effects and extract them from buried places and enable children to experience an interactive learning methods of research and exploration where the location of the archaeological hill within the National Museum of the simulation of nature and provide equipment for children as researchers on the location and customize a corner equipped with tools and clothing for the process of archaeological excavations, Sorting process and interpreting their findings. Professional drawing

Al Noor for Blinds Program

The program in cooperation with the Institute of the light talents of the artist Omar al-Sahibani The program experience the artist Omar in drawing using Braille and a journey around the tangible pieces in the National Museum. The main objectives of the program are to activate the International Day of the Disabled, to integrate the blind with the community, to increase the relationship between the blind and the museums.

The activation “my place is among you”

Activities for the occasion of the International Day of Special Needs in cooperation with the Special Education Club at King Saud University, Fakhr Volunteer Club, Our Kids Club, and the Technical Club The activities included recreational elements for children, cognitive games, art center, photography and calligraphy, a dialogue session for mothers of children by an amazing personalities, during cultural competitions and the presentation of talents with special needs.
